My New Camera

Last Saturday night I got a new camera and it is digital. It has a small screen. It can take video too. It is red and it does not have a flash. If it’s dark on the screen it will say Too Dark. If there is light it can take the picture.

The book I’m reading  is 376 pages long. On the front it say’s A novel of Redwall and I believe that it is a novel. Brian Jacque is a famous writer. He wrote 10 books that I know of. Martin is a mouse who gets captured by Badrang who is a stout. Martin’s father gave him his sword. His father’s name was Luke.

My first BIG reading book!!!

I finished reading The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. The book is 198 pages long. The book is interesting. Edward is a china rabbit. Edward goes on lots of journeys. He goes in a boat. He goes in the ocean. Then he goes with a fisherman. Then he went with a dog called Lucy. After Lucy he met a man called Bull. After Bull he met Bryce. While Bryce was sill there he met Sarah Ruth. Sarah Ruth died. His next to last journey is seeing everybody  he met, even Sarah Ruth. His last journey is him seeing a doll mender.

Going to Galveston

Chapter 1

Hi I’m Joely. I live in Texas. My brother is not mean. My sister is nice. My Mom is the best I ever met. My Dad is the best. My whole family is great.

Chapter 2

Hey it’s me Joely. Do you want to go on an adventure? Where do you want to go? O.K. let’s go to Galveston.

Chapter 3

Hey we’re here. Get out. We are going to live here. The end.

My Family

The following is a not-so-true story by Joely.

When we were little, I had a blanket that had my name written all over it. I liked it.

My brother had a play car. It had “35″ on it.

My sister had books. She had beginner books.

My mommy was tall. She had a computer.

My daddy had a laptop.

When we were grown up, Jaden was the oldest of us. Jaden was ten. My sister was eight. I was three, and I was funny.

My sister was good. My brother was good.

Extra Holes in My Head

I got my ears pierced because when I saw my sister’s earrings, I said, “I want my ears pierced.”

I got them pierced at the mall. It was a little bit hurting. On the left side it was hurting very much. But the right side didn’t hurt.

My earrings look like little grey balls.

I was so proud!

I drew Daddy

I drew Daddy and I took a picture of it. I just love it very much! It just looks like Daddy. Daddy is a perfect Daddy.

I lost my tooth

Last week when I was brushing my teeth my tooth came out. I got money for my tooth. I bought horses at a garage sale and a boat. And I bought a Barbie book. It’s about the 12 Dancing Princesses. And I “read” the whole book!

(Mommy added the quotes because Joely’s definition of “reading the whole book” is not quite kosher.)

I have a new Webkinz

I got my Webkinz on my birthday. It was from Joy. I love it so I always sleep with it. Its name is Jack and I’m almost going to make a shirt for him. And pants. He had a red code but I lost it, so I’m going to clean up my room and find it.
